Springs are designed using state-of-the-art technologies. The main
components of VEP springs, namely, the body, piston rod and ring,
are manufactured from extremely high mechanical strength steel and
then undergo heat treatment and surface finishing to ensure top-level
performance and durability.
Seals and piston rod guide rings are very high quality, selected
after a careful assessment
of their functional characteristics.
An internal lubrication system in each cylinder ensures moving parts
have a longer life and also drastically reduces maintenance requirements,
which means increased productivity.
Finished products for each type of spring undergo severe testing,
an exhaustive check on how they function under extremely tough operating
conditions, in addition to their reliability over time. This means
users are guaranteed an above average quality standard.
Nitrogen gas springs can either be used singly, just like conventional
springs, or connected together and to a control panel, which means
it is possible to interact externally with the entire system to
vary the force based on loading pressure. Alternatively they can
be connected to a compensation chamber to reduce the increase in
force during operation.
